TDS TV+ app Troubleshooting

TDS TV+ subscribers can register five devices on an account and have up to three simultaneous streaming video.

The TDS TV+ app only works at home on the TDS network. Please make sure your devices are connected to your TDS internet connection to use your TDS TV+ subscription.

You can manage your personal devices by logging into your account and scrolling down to My Products and Services and clicking on “View Personal Devices”

If you’re having issues accessing TDS TV+ content using your Apple TV, Android TV, Mi Box, Amazon Fire Stick or Fire TV, first confirm your device is logged into your account. Then, follow these steps:

Apple TV 

Verify your router is working correctly by connecting to the Internet using another device. 

  • If you can connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your Apple TV device
  • If you are unable to connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your router or unplug it from its power source, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in
    • If you are still having issues with your connection, contact TDS TV+ Support available 24/7 at 541-668-6236

Android TV

Verify your router is working correctly by connecting to the Internet using another device.

  • If you can connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your Android TV device
    • Go to your Settings and ensure you are connected to the Internet associated with the same account as your TDS TV+ subscription
  • If you are unable to connect:
    • Restart your router or unplug the power, and wait 30 seconds before plugging it back in
    • If you are still having issues with your connection, contact TDS TV+ Support available 24/7 at 541-668-6236

Amazon TV Fire Stick

Verify that your router is working correctly by connecting to the Internet using another device.

  • If you are able to connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your Amazon Fire TV Stick
  • If you are unable to connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your router or unplug your router from power, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in
    • If you are still having issues with your connection, contact TDS TV+ Support available 24/7 at 541-668-6236
  • Sign-in Error C638 – There was a problem signing into your account.
    • Go to Settings on your Fire Stick. Click center button
    • Scroll to “Applications”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Manage Installed Applications”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “TDS app”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Force Stop. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Clear data”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Clear cache”. Click center button
    • Launch the TDS app and the error should be cleared.

Amazon Fire TV Cube

Verify that your router is working correctly by connecting to the Internet using another device.

  • If you are able to connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your Amazon Fire TV Cube
  • If you are unable to connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your router or unplug your router from power, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in
  • Sign-in Error C638 – There was a problem signing into your account.
    • Go to Settings on your Fire Cube. Click center button
    • Scroll to “Applications”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Manage Installed Applications”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “TDS app”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Force Stop. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Clear data”. Click center button
    • Scroll down to “Clear cache”. Click center button
    • Launch the TDS app and the error should be cleared.

Xiaomi Mi Box

Verify your router is working correctly by connecting to the Internet using another device.

  • If you can connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your Android Mi Box device
    • Go to your Settings and ensure you are connected to the Internet associated with the same account as your TDS TV+ subscription
  • If you are unable to connect to the Internet:
    • Restart your router or unplug your router from power, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in
    • If you are still having issues with your connection, contact TDS TV+ Support available 24/7 at 541-668-6236
