How to configure/update TDS Mail settings in Thunderbird

To configure Mac Mail (Thunderbird) to work with TDS Mail, follow these directions:

1. Open Thunderbird.
2. Click the more menu button.
3. Hover over Option.
4. Click on Account Settings.
5. Click on Server Settings under the TDS mail account on the left handed menu
6. Update the following information:
   -Server Name: mail.tds.net
   -If Server Type is "POP Mail Server": Port: 995
   -If Server Type is "IMAP Mail Server": Port: 993
7. Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP) on the left handed menu.
8. Select mail.tds.net in the upper menu.
9. Click on Edit...
10. Update the following information:
    -Server Name: mail.tds.net
    -Port: 587
    -Connection Security: STARTTLS (if an older version of Thunderbird, select "TLS")
11. Click OK.
